Birth and Early Life

Ezekiel Elliott was born on July 22, 1995, in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. He is the son of Stacy Elliott and Dawn Anderson.

High School Education

Elliott attended John Burroughs School in Ladue, Missouri. As a high school football player, he was a three-star recruit and earned multiple accolades, including being named a USA Today All-American and Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Missouri in 2012.

Collegiate Football: Ohio State University

In 2013, Elliott enrolled at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He played running back for the Ohio State Buckeyes under head coach Urban Meyer. During his time at Ohio State, Elliott broke numerous school and NCAA records.

Freshman Season (2013)

In his freshman year, Elliott rushed for 1,878 yards and 18 touchdowns, earning consensus All-American and Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.

Sophomore Season (2014)

As a sophomore, Elliott led the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff National Championship and was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. He rushed for 1,821 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Junior Season (2015)

Elliott's junior season was cut short due to injury, but he still rushed for 1,361 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was named a second-team All-American and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy.

Ezekiel Elliott played a key role in the success of the Ohio State Buckeyes during his collegiate career. He earned numerous awards and honors, including:
