The New York Liberty have emerged victorious in the fourth annual Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase, securing a hard-fought win against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday at Michelob Ultra Arena. Sabrina Ionescu, the Liberty’s star, put forth an astounding performance, leading her team to a well-deserved 93-82 triumph.
As one of the WNBA's three remaining original franchises, the Liberty showcased their resilience and determination throughout the game. They pulled away from the Aces, who were undefeated at home in the Commissioner’s Cup, in the final minutes.
Ionescu, the 2021 Rookie of the Year and a two-time All-Star, was unstoppable on the court.
