WNBA 2023 Season Standings: Aces Lead the Way

As the 2023 WNBA regular season draws to a close, the Las Vegas Aces have emerged as clear frontrunners. With a dominant 33-6 record, they comfortably lead the league and the Western Conference.

In the Eastern Conference, the Connecticut Sun and the Chicago Sky are locked in a tight battle for the top spot. Both teams currently sit at 26-10, with the Sky holding a narrow edge thanks to their superior point differential.

Upcoming Playoff Matchups

The playoffs are set to begin on Wednesday, August 23rd, with the new best-of-three first-round format. The Aces will face the eighth-seeded Dallas Wings, while the Sun will take on the seventh-seeded Atlanta Dream.

Meanwhile, the Sky will battle the sixth-seeded Washington Mystics, and the fourth-seeded Seattle Storm will face the fifth-seeded New York Liberty. The top two teams from each conference will receive automatic byes to the semifinals.
