Bellator lightweight misses welterweight limit for upcoming fight
Nick Gonzalez keeps his fight on the table.
On June 23rd, 2023 at Bellator 292, Vasquez Academy Paragon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's own Nick Gonzalez missed the lightweight limit to fight Ryan Couture. However, Nick was able to accept a catchweight fight to still compete.
It was a contentious fight that was hard-fought by both men, but in the end, Nick was victorious. Gonzalez won the fight by close split decision.
Nick Gonzalez is now 8-4, and hopes to have his next fight be in the lightweight division.
