Biography
Miranda Leigh Lambert was born on November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas. She grew up in a small town and developed a love for country music at a young age. Lambert began performing in local talent shows and singing competitions as a teenager.
Career
Lambert signed a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville in 2001. Her debut album, Kerosene, was released in 2005 and was a critical and commercial success. Lambert has since released seven more studio albums, including Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Platinum, and Wildcard.
Lambert has won numerous awards for her music, including two Grammy Awards, three Country Music Association Awards, and six Academy of Country Music Awards. She is known for her powerful vocals, honest songwriting, and dynamic live performances.

Lambert was married to fellow country music star Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015. She is currently engaged to former New York City Police Department officer Brendan McLoughlin.
