Carlo Acutis' Body Put on Public Display

Saintly Teen's Remains Now Visible

Body Intact But Not Uncorrupted

The body of the late Carlo Acutis, who is set to be canonized as a saint, has been put on public display. A spokesperson for Acutis' beatification told CNA that while the body is intact, it is not incorrupt.

Acutis, who died in 2006 at the age of 15, is known for his piety and his love of computers. He is the patron saint of internet users and has been credited with several miracles.

The recognition of a second miracle attributed to Acutis' intercession has paved the way for his canonization. The first miracle involved the healing of a Brazilian boy with a rare pancreatic disease. The second miracle involved the healing of a young Italian girl with leukemia.

Acutis' body will be on display at the Sanctuary of Spoiled Eucharistic Miracles in Lanciano, Italy, until October 17th. After that, it will be moved to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.

The public display of Acutis' body is a testament to his holiness and his enduring legacy. He continues to inspire countless people around the world with his example of Christian virtue and service.
