World Refugee Day to Celebrate Utah's 65,000 Refugees
Event to Feature Activities, Performances, and Food

Utahns will celebrate the state's 65,000 refugees at the 18th Annual World Refugee Day festival, to be held on Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18, at the Big Cottonwood Regional Park in Millcreek.
The event, sponsored by Utah Refugee Services, will feature activities, performances, and food from various refugee communities.
Nearly 70,000 refugees currently live in Utah, many of whom have recently arrived from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Congo, and Venezuela.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services Refugee Services Office will mark World Refugee Day with activities on Friday from 6-11 pm.
