PGMOL and FA to Investigate

Constantine Hatzidakis Removed from Officiating Duties

Assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis has been stood down from officiating matches while the Football Association (FA) and Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) investigate an incident involving Liverpool's Andy Robertson. The FA has confirmed that Hatzidakis will not be involved in any matches until the investigation is complete.

Hatzidakis is alleged to have made physical contact with Robertson during Liverpool's Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. The incident occurred in the second half of the game, and it is being reviewed by the FA.

In a statement, the FA said: "We are aware of an incident involving assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis and Liverpool player Andy Robertson during the Premier League match between Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. We are currently investigating the matter and will provide an update in due course."

Hatzidakis has expressed his regret over the incident and says he is prepared for any action that the FA may take.
