Katie Taylor eyes undisputed world title fight with Chantelle Cameron
Irish boxing star Katie Taylor is setting her sights on an undisputed world title fight with Chantelle Cameron.
Taylor, who holds the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO lightweight titles, is looking to add the undisputed light-welterweight title to her collection when she faces Cameron on May 2nd.
The Irish fighter is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Karen Carabajal in December, while Cameron is the reigning WBC, WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion.
Taylor is confident that she can defeat Cameron and become the undisputed champion.
"I know it's going to be a tough fight, but I'm confident that I can win," Taylor said. "I'm the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and I'm going to prove it on May 2nd."
The fight is expected to be a sell-out, with fans from all over the world expected to attend.
